11 days Mountaineering expedition

Join our ultimate wilderness mountaineering trip in East Greenland!

Discover new places where no person has ever set foot on. Over the course of 11 days we will explore three different locations, sleeping in huts and camping in wild places, summiting un-named peaks. 

Pursuing the true meaning of exploration.

day 1

- arrival in Greenland, Kulusuk
- guide briefing of the expedition and gear check 
- dinner included at the hotel
overnight at Hotel Kulusuk

day 2-4

- boat to first destination: Apusiaii glacier
-highlights: glacier hiking, ice climbing, ice caving
- overnights in mountain hut

day 5-8

- boat transfer to new destiantion
- highlights: alpine trekking days; glacier travel, summit un-named peak, wild camping

day 9-11

- boat to new destination
- highlights: Ice cap glacier hike, ice climbing, calving glacier sightseeing
-drop off at Kulusuk airport

  • Sleeping bag (comfort around 0°C; approx. 1kg)

  • Camping inflatable mattress (approx. 500g)

  • Backpack 50-70 L (approx. 1kg)

  • Water bottle capacity 1.5/2L (our guide likes 1L + second one of 500ml)

  • Thermos (optional)

  • Hiking poles (optional)




  • 2-3 Base layer T-shirt (no cotton)

  • Sweater or fleece mid layer 

  • Base layer pants (light, could be used as pajama)

  • Hiking pants (lightweight material for temp. between +5 and +15°C)

  • Waterproof Pants (Gore-Tex or similar)

  • Waterproof jacket (Gore-Tex or similar)

  • Warm jacket (puffy down or synthetic)

  • Hiking boots (B2, half or ¾ stiff; ankle support, above the ankle)

  • Comfortable shoes for base camp (crox or snickers)  

  • Cap and hat

  • 2 pairs of gloves (one pair thin and one pair thick)

  • Sunglasses (cat.3 or 4)

  • Sun cream + lip balm

  • Personal kit (tooth paste, tooth brush…)

  • Power bank for personal equipment (phone, camera)



  • Harness 

  • Helmet

  • Crampons

  • Ice axe

  • Foam mattress

  • Expedition tent (one every 2 guest; to be shared between occupants)

  • Cooking stove (one per tent to be share with gas canister)

  • Cutlery

  • Expedition food

  • Mosquito net, mosquito spray
